Where I'm from banjo ain't of much interest and many local stores and folks dont offer much. I heard stellar recommendations from the website and of ross. I must say the service, shipping, and information provided are great. The website is very friendly to newcomers and the banjo you buy is setup with all the necessary components and tools. This model itself is very nice. Very sturdy, solid, well built and fun to play. I would not hesitate to buy from here again and would buy from goldtone again.
