Fantastic!

Like many first time tenor owners, it was between this and the Goodtime 2 -19 Fret tenor for me. While they are both wonderful instruments, I decided to go with the Gold Tone for 1. The fact that it has a truss-rod, and 2. Despite the fact that both are both priced as entry-level instruments, the Gold Tone just had a personal feel of an instrument far beyond it's price point (yet over $150 cheaper than the Deering, I might add). Though made in China, the craftsmanship is excellent and the setup done before shipment was superb. I couldn't be more thrilled with my choice and look forward to many years with my Gold Tone.
