Deering Goodtime Artisan Parlor Banjo

Thanks for your great service. I've had this banjo several months now and it goes with me everywhere. I travel a lot and this is the perfect banjo for taking on the plane with me. It's very light and the gig bag that comes with it protects it very well. While I always try to put it in the closet up front, sometimes the flight attendants ask me to put it in the overhead. A few times some "brute" passengers try to jam their bags on top or into it but the banjo and bag has always held up very well. I play this banjo in the hotel room (lightly of course as to not bother other folks) and it helps me to be able to practice while on the road. I tune it to open G and it works fine. It does need to be re-tuned more often than my Deering Sierra but that may be due to the temperature extremes I subject it to.
I highly recommend this banjo to anyone that needs a smaller banjo for travel.
