Review for "Lakota Leather 2 inch or 3 inch Non Cradle Strap"
Lakota Leather Banjo Straps - Non Cradle Lakota Leather Banjo Straps - Made in the USA of soft comfortable American raised Bison leather. Our 'non-cradle' banjo straps were designed for the player who doesn't like a 'cradle' strap. The non cradle straps attach to your banjo by utilizing two 'tail -sections' of bison leather. These two 'tail sections' are 3/4" wide and are at both ends of the main body of the strap. These individually loop around a single tension hook of your choosing and are secured back to themselves by a Chicago screw (or a piece of leather lace at your request). A lot of folks ask us why they are more expensive than our standard "cradle" strap. The answer is because two 'tail sections' are used when making these straps instead of one. These straps are made of the same soft luxurious Bison hide as our standard cradle straps and will provide a lifetime of use!Wider Shoulder Pad Straps for Banjo Also available in 3 inch Non-CradleLakota Banjo Strap Attachment On the Lakota straps, the width of the leather that attaches around the head tightening bracket is 3/4ths of an inch.Link to spare screws used for attaching banjo strapsType of banjo this strap fits This CRADLE leather Lakota banjo strap works for heavier bluegrass banjos with a flathead tone ring and one piece flange and resonator. Adjusting the Length To adjust the length you choose one of the holes to attach the two sided "Chicago" screw through, depending on how long or short you want it. Remember to adjust the length of the strap on the side of the strap near the tailpiece. The other side, by the heel of the neck, just attach it in the first adjustment hole. Lakota Leather 3 inch wide NON CRADLE strap is my choice
0 of 0 people found the following review helpfulI chose a Lakota Leathers 3 inch wide non cradle strap with my banjo order. I have one of their mandolin straps and love it so onto a Lakota Leathers strap for my banjo. This is a great strap and it is AMERICAN made. Bison is some serious leather and strong and soft at the same time. Comfortable as all get out with a heavy banjo. For me, this is the best choice in a high quality American Made strap. Order a strap for your instrument. Lakota Leathers is the way to go. Do it right the first time. Lakota Leathers all the way. Once you try one you wont want any other strap.
