Coordinator Rod Set - Adjustable Two Way - PB-610

5.00/5 - 1 review

New product

For adjusting string action on a banjo most banjos use a dual, 2 way adjustable coordinator rod system. The two way coordinators rods are designed to easily adjust the bow angle and the height of the string action to remove buzzing from too low of action, or make the banjo easier to play because the string action is too high.

One rod attaches to the truss rod and the other to the rim making adjusting your string action and neck bow angle easier.

Caution should be used to not force the rods too hard against the rim which could cause taking the rim out of round.

More information on adjusting banjo coordinator rods can be found in the maintenance chapter of The Banjo Encyclopedia, Bluegrass Banjo from A to Z.

These dual two way adjustable coordinator rods are perfect for replacing or upgrading your banjo coordinator rods.

Fits all standard Replicas of Gibson Mastertone-Style Banjos that have a the heavy flathead tone ring, one piece flange and 3 ply maple rim with 24 head tightening brackets.

Most with few exceptions of the heavier bluegrass banjos are copies or replicas of the 1930's style Gibson Mastertone Banjos.
