Adjusting the length
  • To adjust the length you choose one of the holes to attach the two sided "Chicago" screw through, depending on how long or short you want it.

The best
I think I’ve probably had every kind of guitar, mandolin, and banjo strap made over nearly 50 years of playing, including every strap the trade magazines said was “the one”; nylon, braided, sheepskin, leather, the ones like Earl’s, Willie’s and Buck’s, you name it. So, when I asked Ross for a recommendation he suggested this one. It’s like real saddle leather. Actually, I think it is real saddle leather. Very thick, but still soft. It doesn’t get any more country than that. Looks great. The Chicago screws have a fancy little engraving on them that almost invokes the pattern on my silver rodeo buckle - which, comes off before I sling my axe of course. Very comfortable, and my banjo is an anchor. Easy to install, and rolls up nicely under the neck heel so it stays attached in the case. Try that with sheepskin. Looks like it will last a very long time, too.
