This Carlin model was the first to be issued; it was the result of a meeting between Bob and Gold Tone president Wayne Rogers at the 2004 IBMA Fan Fest. All of the BC-350 features and dimensions are per Mr. Carlin's specifications (arrived at after several trips by Bob to the Gold Tone plant) and include a twelve-inch three-ply maple pot with an innovative dowel-stick/coordinator rod, a rolled brass tone ring, maple neck with scooped ebony fretboard, planetary-gear tuning machines, No Knot tailpiece and "hot-dog" armrest. All metal parts are richly nickel-plated for long-wearing durability. Of course, each BC-350 is set up by skilled hands in our Florida shop. Available as left-handed model.

My banjo arrived to me in Australia this morning and I just wanted to say thank you and that I am thrilled to bits with it. It came in perfect condition and I like the setup a lot...it is just right for my style. Great to have the railway spikes already in and saves me lots of mucking about to get them done professionally...don't trust myself! The hard case was a lovely surprise as I had forgotten that it would be included. All round, it is a great deal for the price and I couldn't be happier. ...hello ross! i love my new BC 350! sounds great & feels good to play. i like the extra weight that it has over the cc 100-r that i've been playing. the action toward the pot is a tad higher than i am used to but i'm working it out. talked w/goldtone & they said that it would help my clawhammer as i get better. anyhow thanks so much. i enjoyed shopping through you & will be back.
