...Ross, The Dixie Breakdown book is a great exercise. Super roll practice. Fun song to work up and demonstrate the abilities of the banjo. Keep doing the web page and training material. I would like to see more intermediate - advanced methods and tab.

……Many thanks, I've had a quick go with it this evening and I'm very happy. There is a lot of thought and wisdom in this book. I agree so much with a lot of it I want to shout out. I read so often on forums that "speed will come on its own", but I really don't agree. I'm certain a lot of banjo players never get past 120bpm for their entire lives. This book gives me a efficient route to playing faster - without it taking years and years. And it is necessary -- last week the guitarist I play with said "this needs to go up at this speed or it doesn't sound right" -- time to do something about it! Thanks again, Alan
