"BanjoTeacher.com has been a dealer for Gold Tone banjos since 2003. Goldtone's drive and creative force is fueled by owner Wayne Rogers unrelenting quest to give banjo players the "best bang for the buck" and his desire to offer versatility in the banjos he produces. He has single handedly "brought back" or revitalized many models and types of banjos. For instance the 12 inch pot Open back banjos

, 10-string Banjo

Having been involved with playing and teaching banjo for many years I know first hand that most of the beginner banjos you see available today, that are not made by Gold Tone, were created in response to the "raising of the bar" and market craze that Wayne Rogers had a large hand in creating. He came out with a beginner banjo in roughly 2001 that had double truss rods, geared pegs, sounded great and played with perfect intonation for about 295.00. That was unheard of. Several years after that his competition responded and began trying to measure up. I could go one but you won't find a more dedicated inspired staff of hard working folks than you'll find at Gold Tone Banjos. Gold Tone
is a great company operated by real people who care about their customers. Most everyone at the shop plays banjo. Their owner Wayne Rogers picks banjo and also has a very good understanding of banjo player needs having owned a music store for 20 years prior to starting GoldTone Banjos. His wife Robin is a world class musician and is the "meticulous" behind all their quality control.
If you have any questions about Gold Tone Banjos please don't hesitate to call. I have been teaching beginners and helping banjo players most of my life so there is likely no question I have not heard. That's what I do! and I'm always glad to help in any way I can.
Thanks again, Ross Nickerson.
