It's a thinner version of the Latico to the left and without the basket weave. I haven't noticed any difference in the thinner straps for comfort and stability and I personally use a 1 inch strap on one of my banjos. This one is soft leather and matches up nicely with any style of banjo.

These Latico banjo straps made of leather are one of the best leather banjo straps there are. I've used both of these straps, they work great and last forever. The weaved design is the most popular and breaks in really well. The JD Crowe model is not as wide but I've found that it's still very comfortable, easy to put over your shoulder and fits in the case very easily. On the Latico strap, the width of the leather that attaches around the head tightening bracket is 9/16th of an inch.
