Easiest Banjo Capo
Planet Waves Banjo Capo ![]() |
Planet Waves- Easy to use Banjo Capo Ross Nickerson comments on the Planet Waves easy to use banjo capo I've just discovered this banjo capo at one of my workshops. A students at the workshop had one and I loved it. It's really easy to put on, it didn't throw my strings out of tune and I'm presently using this one. Having a capo that goes on easily and minimizes tuning is really important. It seems to get real good contact with minimal volume loss too and I recommend it. I switch what capo I use from time to time so all the ones I carry on BanjoTeacher.com I've tried and recommend but this one is my present favorite and I know it will work well for you and get the job done at a very low cost. Thanks, Ross Nickerson. Here are the details from the manufacturer. A lightweight capo that's easy to use and full of functionality at a cheap price. With a shorter fretting bar than a standard guitar capo, The banjo stays in tune well with the capo on. The Planet Waves Trio Partial Capo can be used three ways: banjos, mandolins, and part of the neck for special tunings (can also be used with guitars). The NS Trio Partial Capo is the product of an ongoing collaboration between famed product designer Ned Steinberger and J. D'Addario & Company. It employs a sleek, ultra-light design for fast and accurate one-hand positioning on the instrument's neck. Just turn the smooth, tactile dial to eliminate string buzzing and enjoy a perfect, in-tune performance. The Planet Waves capo's fast, micrometer screw assures perfect pressure for buzz-free, in-tune performance at every fret. Lightweight, aerospace-grade aluminum adds virtually no weight to the instrument's neck when in use. Adjust its tactile dial to terminate banjo and mandolin string buzzing and achieve an in-tune performance.

Cobalt Nick Picks at Banjo Teacher.com
Cobalt coated special designed custom picks designed for solid tone, comfort, and speed. Bob Perry custom made these picks for me by my specifications. They fit back further on your finger like I requested for more comfort and power. The no hole design avoids those finger through the hole sores and more importantly gives the pick more mass for a thicker, fatter tone.
