5/16 or 7.3mm size head wrench
This larger 5/16 size head wrench is the correct drum key for tightening the head on Goodtime, Boston and Deering Vega banjos as well as other open back banjos that use the larger 5/16 nut size. 


1/4 inch or 6.5mm size head wrench
Deering 5 string Bluegrass Banjos Deering 4-string, and 6-string Deering banjos that are "NOT" a Goodtime, Boston or Vega use the standard 1/4 inch or 6.5 mm size.
